The Task
LCAMP stands for Learner Centric Advanced Manufacturing Platform. The aim of the European initiative is cooperation and networking between vocational education and training centers (VET/HVET), companies and business associations that deal with Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing The aim is to reduce skills gaps and facilitate knowledge transfer between VET centers and companies
The Goals
- Establishment of an observatory for trends in Advance Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
- Development of mechanisms to define skills, learning paths, microcredits, etc.
- Creation of an open innovation community
- Operation of a collaborative learning factory
- Identify required competencies for Industry 4.0 and develop competency-based curricula for institutions to prepare learners for Industry 4.0 tasks and knowledge transfer.
Contribution from FORCAM ENISCO
- Installation of three systems from the FORCE solution family in the university environment
- Creation of training units for configuration by third parties
- Development of learning units
- FORCAM-ENISCO are active in the field of adult education at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW)
Partners
The LCAMP consortium consists of 20 full partners from 10 countries, of which 9 are educational institutions, 7 are industrial companies and 4 are vocational training and industry associations. This group also includes FORCAM-ENISCO and the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW). The consortium is also supported by 60 associated partners, including numerous European institutions in the field of adult education. The EU supports LCAMP from the funding pot for excellent vocational training.
